Mission Tools

Celestial calculators and calendar converters for navigating the galaxy.

Journey Parameters

Choose how to compute travel outcomes

0.05 = 5% light speed

Speed at destination

Acceleration capability. 70g = extreme

Maximum velocity the ship can achieve

Time for light to travel the distance

Use 0.10 for 10% light speed

Enter time length, then pick a unit

Initial speed before braking (e.g., 0.10 = 10% c)

Constant deceleration used until full stop

Travel Calculations

Configure journey parameters and calculate to view trajectory.

How it works:
Ship accelerates from start speed to peak, then decelerates to end speed. Average speed = (start + end) / 2. Time = distance ÷ average speed.

Speed & Distance Quick Tool

Enter speed as a fraction of c (e.g., 0.10)

Edit either distance input; the other auto-converts

Enter speed and distance, then calculate to view km/s and travel time.

Earth → Syrtis

e.g., 2025-11-01T12:30:00

Syrtis → Earth

Earth Timestamp

Enter Earth ISO and convert to view Syrtis date.

Syrtis Timestamp

Enter Syrtis date and convert to view Earth timestamp.

Syrtis Calendar:
19 months (Primus–Novendecimus) × 73 days = 1,387 days/year. Each month has 10 weeks of 7 days + 3 bonus days. Year 51 PA begins November 1, 2025.

Weapon & Target Settings

Target Parameters

Distance to target at start

Target velocity

0° = straight at you, 90° = perpendicular, 180° = straight away

Weapon Parameters

Initial weapon velocity

Sustained throughout flight

Intercept Results

Configure weapon and target parameters, then calculate to view intercept time.

How It Works:
Kinetic: Constant velocity intercept.
Missile/Drone: Uses quadratic kinematic equation. For angle scenarios, relative velocity components are resolved geometrically.
